You have been hired as Van der Valk Nuland's newest bartender as the company wants you to become an industry legend when it comes to pouring beverages and enjoying the experience!

Giving the visitors an outstanding experience will energize you, and together with your coworkers you ensure a positive work environment and a clean bar each and every day. You are in charge of serving a variety of drinks. What does a typical workday entail?

'AS A BARTENDER, YOU WILL MAKE SURE THE GUESTS GET THE MOST DELICIOUS DRINKS'

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• You are knowledgeable about various drinks and how to prepare them;
• You turn every order into a party and keep guests entertained. You create a great experience for our guests in collaboration with your colleagues;
• You independently prepare the complicated mise-en-place for the drinks;
• Ensure good hygiene behind the bar and work in accordance with HACCP regulations;
• You keep yourself informed about trends and developments in the market; Do you see something cool coming along? Take action and immediately make a proposal;
• Following events, you  professionally clean the bar in accordance with cleaning checklists.

You enjoy working in a team to keep the bar running properly. You go above and beyond to ensure that our customers leave the hotel with a smile and with a positive feeling as you are friendly to both guests and coworkers. And:

• You are adaptable and don't mind working weekends and/or evenings;

• You are precise, have an eye for detail, and prefer to provide both products as well as service of a top quality.;
• You enjoy getting to know our guests' with the usual small talk;
• You have worked in the industry for at least a year;
• You have a excellent understanding of both Dutch and English.
