EnerMech has been awarded a contract for Tool Install by Intel in Ireland in relation to its newest Semiconductor Factory at Leixlip, F34. EnerMech was selected by Intel in order to bring diversity and international experience to its existing stable of mechanical and process contractors supporting the expansion of its production capacity in Ireland and internationally. EnerMech was founded in Aberdeen, supporting the North Sea oil and gas business. We are proud to continue to do so today across our unique range of specialist services that we now also provide across Europe to the wider Energy and Infrastructure markets from Renewables and Nuclear through Petrochem and Rail. EnerMech’s scope of services is Tool Install – an essential component of the installation of the 2000+ tools which combine to form Intel’s semiconductor manufacturing facility. EnerMech’s scope includes: -engineering (production of fabrication drawings and 3D models). -procurement (sourcing of highly specialised piping and tubing components and accessories) -offsite fabrication of piping and mechanical systems onto ‘pedestals’ which will link intel factory tools to critical services. This includes high purity orbital welding in cleanroom conditions (requiring specialised skills, equipment and facilities). -onsite installation and hook up of pre-facilitised pedestals at the intel site including support of pre-commissioning activities.
