Here’s some of the things you can look forward to
In January 2022, Hempel changed its organisation from regional to segment and functional focused. With this change, we have formed one global finance organisation and with that, a need to streamline, and further enhance one way of working to develop into one truly global organisation.
As a Finance Project Manager you will be responsible for the project portfolio and manage projects within and across our global Business Finance organization. You will therefore, have the opportunity to get a huge impact on the development of Finance and Hempel.
The job will contain both larger and smaller projects. As a start, an exciting project could be the role out of the second wave in our Dynamic and Simplified Planning (based on beyond Budgeting) journey. Another area could be transparency and system supported resource allocation management.
As Project Manager you will drive all aspects of defined projects, including; project plan, communication, follow-up, reporting to SteerCO, change management, stakeholder management, and financial follow-ups. You will be joining a dedicated team in Denmark of 12 colleagues.
We’re looking for a Project Manager that can lead and create followship
You come from a roll with several years of experience as a Project Manager from an international company. A Finance background would be beneficial, but not a must have. As our company language is English, it is important that you are fluent in English – both verbal and written, and have strong communication competencies. It is essential that you have the ability to drive projects independently and have proven project management experience. To succeed in this role you are solution focused, have a structured work approach, and strong stakeholder management skills.
As a person, you have a strong personal drive, and are a pro-active team player. It is essential that you are a strong relation builder. We value collaboration so this is something that comes natural for you and it comes with a positive attitude and genuine care for the people around you without losing the focus on the end goal.
Global career possibilities
In Hempel we offer a variety of global career possibilities and many cross functional and cross cultural working relationships. We strive to create the right conditions for personal and professional development.
Join a global company where the employees are truly passionate about delivering the best in everything they do. With business in mind and people at heart we always work together to influence our road ahead. We want you to be part of our growth journey and of a great, global family.
